Turku University of Applied Sciences, University of Turku, Åbo Akademi and Yrkeshögskolan Novia offer joint sports services under the name CampusSport Turku – Åbo. The goal of the collaboration is to offer equal sports services for all the students and staff members of the mentioned universities. CampusSport, Student Union TUO and the Student Union of the University of Turku TYY are looking for a project worker for their geocaching project.
The job will begin, according to a contract, in April. Application period ends Wed 7 Apr 2021.
The project worker organises a geocaching project together with CampusSport, TUO and TYY. The project worker is in charge of planning, budgeting, executing and reporting. The idea of the project is to create geocache routes with different themes to Turku area. The aim is to activate students and staff members and motivate them to go out by offering interesting caches and good prices. The project is funded by Study In Turku.
The person chosen for the job needs to:
– Be accustomed to independent work and working under pressure
– Have ability to cooperate and network
– Be interested in exercising and healthy lifestyle
– Have good spoken and written skills in Finnish, English and Swedish
– Previous experience in geocaching
– Knowledge of Turku and the surrounding areas
– Knowledge of the university culture in Turku
The salary is 13,87 e – 15,30 €/hour depending on the merits and work experience of the person chosen for the job.
The working hours are approximately 20 hours/week but the amount of hours can vary. The employment is temporary and lasts for approximately three months. The total amount of the working hours during the employment is 240 hours.
