Getting to know the services

All the students and staff members of the University of Turku, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Åbo Akademi University and Novia University of Applied Sciences, who have the right to use CampusSport’s services, can participate in one instructed shift before paying the sports fee.

You can only participate in the shifts that are held in Educarium or Sport Sirkka. It is not possible to participate in the shifts held in other sports facilities, or in the shifts where there is no instructor. Check which shifts are instructed from the page Schedule. It is also possible to get to know the gyms before paying the sports fee.

Participating in an instructed sports shift in Educarium or Sport Sirkka

1. Log in to CampusSport online store store with your HAKA user ID of your university. Log out without buying anything. This way you will get a customer profile that is needed for you to participate in the shift. If you are unable to log in to the online store, you do not have the right to use CampusSport’s services and cannot participate in a shift.

2. Send an email to info@campussport.fi with the subject ”Getting to know a shift for free”. Give the following information in the message: your full name, your university email address and the shift’s information (the name of the shift, the sports hall, the date and the time). You need to send the email at the latest 48 hours before the shift starts.

3. You will get a confirmation via email once the reservation to the shift has been made.

4. Confirm your participation to the customer service person at least 10 minutes before the shift starts. If the reservation is not confirmed, the place will be released to other users. It is not possible to cancel or postpone your reservation.

Getting to know the gyms

You can get to know the gyms with a sports tutor. If you want to do a work out, you can do it once at one gym for free. If you want to see all the gyms and the equipment briefly without staying to do a work out, it is possible to get to know all the gyms with the tutor.

1. Send an email to tutors@campussport.fi with the subject “Getting to know the gyms”. Tell which gym you would like to get to know and which times would suit you.

2. A sports tutor will suggest visiting times to you via email.
