CampusSport’s gym equipment maintenance and repair procedure
The maintenance of gym equipment and delays in repairing some equipment have been the subject of discussion recently. We always repair all equipment as quickly as possible. In this news article, we will explain more detailed how the maintenance and repair process for gym equipment works.
All sports facilities and gyms are inspected daily by the staff. During the inspection, the cleanliness of the facilities, maintenance needs, and other factors affecting the customer experience are being checked. During the inspection, the employee assesses the condition of the gym equipment based on customer feedback and their own observations. Broken equipment and other problems are reported to the CampusSport management team. Employees also regularly clean and oil those parts of the gym equipment that do not require professional maintenance. In addition, employees check that no unauthorized parts have been attached to the equipment.
Most of the equipment faults that come to our attention are reported as customer feedback. Minor faults and deficiencies in gym equipment are repaired as soon as possible by CampusSport’s own staff. If one of the equipment develops a fault that requires professional repair expertise, we immediately order maintenance. CampusSport does not have its own in-house maintenance staff, which is why maintenance services are ordered from an external service provider. After the order is placed, a technician arrives according to their own schedule to locate and diagnose the fault. The repair will be done either immediately on-site or once the necessary spare parts have arrived.
There is considerable variation in the availability of spare parts. For example, most of the equipment in Aurum gym was ordered through a reseller from a Ukrainian manufacturer before the outbreak of war in the country. Currently, due to the war, this supplier has long delivery times for spare parts.
The impact of long maintenance breaks on customers’ gym training is unfortunate. In such situations, we recommend that you also check out our other gyms. You may find equipment similar to the equipment undergoing maintenance at our other gyms. You can find more detailed information and pictures of our gym equipment in the Facilities section of our website.
