Sunday walk to Halinen with sports tutors

Join CampusSport’s sports tutors in a Sunday walk once a month during the autumn semester. Walks are free and there is no advanced enrolment. You do not need to pay the CampusSport sports fee in order to participate but you do need to be an enrolled student or a staff member in one of the universities in Turku. The walking pace will be adjusted to suit the participants’ level.
The next walk will take place on Sunday 25 October 2026. The walk starts from Turku cathedral at 12.00 and ends at the same place. We will walk to Halinen. The sports tutors will be wearing black vests with “Sports tutor” written on them. The length of the route is 6 kilometres. The route includes some climbs. The walk lasts for approx. 3 hours.
Wear sturdy shoes and warm clothes. Bring a water bottle. If it rains a lot, the walk will not take place.
The last walk of the autumn will take place 22 November close to the city center. Information about the walks will be published on the website later.
