Regular shifts of the sports halls 2022-2023
You can book a regular shift for your own sports group for the academic year 2022–2023. The application period starts on Friday 6 May at 9am and ends on Friday 20 May at 11.59pm. This application period is only for the whole sports halls. The application period for regular badminton shifts will be opened later in the summer.
Apply in CampusSport’s electronic booking system:
1. Open campussport.fi and select “Reserve a class”. Log in with your university’s HAKA code.
2. Select “Vakiovuorot” (i.e. regular booking) as the branch
3. Select “Liikuntavuorot/Sports classes” as the type
4. Search week 36 in the calendar
5. Select the time when you would like to have your shift
One person can apply for max. two shifts. The bookings will be confirmed after 13 June. All the bookings of the season are listed in the confirmation message.
You don’t need to pay the CampusSport sports fee in order to apply for a shift. All staff members and students of the universities in Turku can apply. Half of the people participating in the shift have to be students or staff members. If you want to go and visit the sports halls before applying, please send e-mail to petri.kuokkanen@www.campussport.fi.
Most shifts last for 55 minutes but some are 30 or 45 minutes long. You will see the length in the booking system. The booking is made for the whole academic year (1 September 2022 – 31 May 2023). However, if you would like to have a shift for autumn or spring only, please send an email to petri.kuokkanen@www.campussport.fi after having made your application. Note before booking that the regular shifts are cancelled on midweek holidays and that there will be some cancellations in the sports halls in Normaalikoulu due to the matriculation examinations. List of the cancellations will be sent later to those who have made bookings. The list will also be available on the page Facilities for rent.
Prices for regular shifts of sports halls 2022–2023:
Educarium (506 m²): 330 € autumn / 373 € spring / 550 € academic year
Sport Sirkka (186 m²): 220 € autumn / 242 € spring / 385 € academic year
Normaalikoulu, primary school sports hall (392 m²): 320 € autumn / 460 € spring / 620 € academic year
Normaalikoulu, secondary school sports hall (602 m²): 365 € autumn / 304 € spring / 530 € academic year
