Disc golf with sports tutors

Join CampusSport’s sports tutors for a game of disc golf on Sat 16 May 2025 at 9.45 am – 2 pm at the disc golf course in Lauste. The event is free and all the students and staff members of the universities in Turku are welcome to join. You do not have to pay the CampusSport sports fee in order to participate. No enrollment in advance. You do not need to have your own discs, you can borrow them from the sports tutors. But if you do have some discs, please bring them.
Meeting at the entrance of Iskeri sports hall (Rehtorinpellonkatu 4, Turku) at 9.45 am. The sports tutors will wear vests with a text “Sports tutor”. We will go to Lauste by bus number 10, that leaves from the Rehtorinpellonkatu stop (stop number 794) at 9.58 am. We will get off the the bus at Poropuiston kenttä stop at 10.10 am. From the bus stop we will walk approx. 1 km to Lauste disc golf course (Hiihtomajanpolku 13, Turku). If you do not want to come by bus you can meet the tutors at the beginning of the course. The game starts at 10.30 am. You can travel back to Iskeri with the sports tutors after the event. Everyone pays for their own bus fare.
Wear sturdy shoes and clothes that are suitable for outdoor exercising. Bring a water bottle. Note that the course is in a forest and the route is challenging at times. There are some climbs.
If it rains a lot, the event will not take place.
CampusSport does not accept any harassment. We require that all our customers commit to following the safer space guidelines. The purpose of the guidelines is to prevent inappropriate behaviour such as harassment, bullying and discrimination in all CampusSport’s facilities, shifts and events. In addition, the guidelines help both the customers and the staff members to intervene with inappropriate behaviour.
