Orienteering try out

CampusSport and Turun Seudun Urheiluakatemia organise free try outs in the autumn semester for those who have paid the sports fee. The first try out is orienteering on 7 October 2026. There will also be a handball try out on 9 November and a triathlon try out on 9 December (indoors).
Orienteerin try out will take place on 7 October at 14.30-15.30 at Vartiovuori. Meeting in front of Turun Kesäteatteri. The instructor will help the participants get started. After that the participants go through the checkpoints by walking or running, depending on their preference. You do not need to have a compass, but if you have one, you an bring it. The instructor will speak Finnish and English.
Enrol to the try outs in CampusSport’s online reservation system. Instructions on how to enrol:
- Choose “Reserve a class” link on CampusSport’s website
- Log in with your HAKA credentials
- Select branch: Other
- Select type: Sports classes
- Select service: ”Suunnistuksen lajikokeilu / Orienteering try out 7.10.2026”
- Choose the date from the calendar
Last day to enrol is 29 September. If you want to cancel your reservation, the cancellation also needs to be made before this time. The maximum amount of participants is 30.
