Member benefit: rugby beginners’ course
Turku Eagles Rugby Football Club welcomes everyone to rugby beginners’ course of 2023, held in January-February. The course costs 20€, with a special price of 5€ for CampusSport members. To sign up, follow this link: https://forms.gle/f9VeZzqApR1SSjRX8 . Deadline to sign up is 9.1.2023.
The course includes four trainings, where we will go through the very basic elements and skills of rugby. These trainings are on Wednesdays 11.1.-1.2. from 20:40 to 22:00 in Impivaara football hall. The only equipment you’ll need are sports clothing, sneakers or cleats, and water bottle. If you happen to own a mouth guard, grab those with you too. The trainings are held in English. For the course you don’t need to know anything about rugby! We’ll teach you. What you need to play rugby is persistent work-morale and the will to challenge yourself.

If it during the course hits you, that rugby might be your sport, you can continue training with the men’s or women’s teams. Both teams train two-three times a week year-round.
