Coming up: floorball (sähly) and chess competitions
CampusSport organizes several tournaments and competitions during the academic year. You can now enrol to floorball (sähly) and chess competitions. You don’t have to pay the sports fee in order to participate, as long as you are a student or a staff member in one of the universities in Turku. Anyone can put a team together. You can for example ask fellow students to join your team and participate in the competitions. Some of the competitions have both amateur and competition series. Our competitions are part of CampusSport Cup, which is a series of tournaments that consists of different sports and lasts for the whole season. You can participate in just one tournament, it isn’t mandatory to be part of the Cup.

Floorball (sähly) 3 vs 3
Time: On weekdays between 10am and 6pm, starting from 6 March 2023. Estimated length of the tournament is 3-4 weeks.
Location: Educarium (Assistentinkatu 5)
Additional information: Playing time 2 x 15 min, no effective time. Three players on the field, no goalkeeper. In addition to amateur and competition series there are also staff’s series and women’s series in the tournament. Staff members and women can also participate in the amateur or competition series but each contestant can participate only in one series. A CampusSport Cup team sport.
Participation fee: 66€/team

Chess
Time: 9 March 2023 at 6pm-9.45pm
Location: University of Turku, the exact venue that will be decided later
Additional information: Gametime 15 + 15 minutes. A game lasts max. 30 minutes.
