Courses
CampusSport offers short courses with separate fees every semester. You can attend the courses without paying the CampusSport sports fee, in case you do not want to use other CampusSport services.
You can enrol in the courses by paying the course fee at the online store of CampusSport. Please note that everyone has to make the enrolment and pay the course fee personally. The course will take place only if the minimum number of participants is reached. The participants will get a verification on whether the course will take place at the latest three working days before the course starts. If the course gets cancelled the paid course fees will be returned. Course enrolments are binding and they cannot be cancelled. Course fees are reimbursed only in cases of illness against a medical certificate in case the customer misses more than half of the course meetings.

Calisthenics for beginners
Location: Educarium gymnastics hall (Assistentinkatu 5, Turku)
Time: on Tuesdays 17 March – 14 April 2026 (5 times) at 17.30-18.20

Instructor: Toni Veiro
Calisthenics is bodyweight training that builds muscle strength, especially in the core muscles. It also improves coordination, endurance and flexibility. In this course, you will learn the basic movements and techniques. There are no entry-level requirements to join.
Couple salsa for beginners
Location: Sport Sirkka (Sirkkalankatu 13, Turku)
Time: on Thursdays 29 January – 26 February 2026 (5 times) at 20.00-21.00

Cuban couple salsa is an energetic social dance where partners dance freely without a set choreography. In this course you will learn the rhythm, basic steps, body movement, and a few simple figures of cuban couple salsa. You do not need a partner to join the course. You can register for the role you prefer (leader or follower), regardless of your gender identity. Note when registering that there are separate course products for leaders and followers. No previous dance experience is required to join the course.You can dance in socks or wear dance sneakers.
Fusion belly dance for beginners
Location: Sport Sirkka (Sirkkalankatu 13, Turku)

Fusion belly dance is a dance style that blends different dance genres with belly dance technique. The movement vocabulary is elegant and smooth, combined with strong, striking movements. Regular practice strengthens deep core muscles, the back, and arms, while improving coordination. No previous dance experience is required to join the course.
Fitness boxing technique
Location: Sport Sirkka (Sirkkalankatu 13, Turku)

Fitness boxing is an efficient and safe form of exercise. In the training, we use e.g. focus mitts and boxing bags. The course meetings include a warm-up, technique exercises with a pair, an efficient workout and a stretching. We use CampusSport’s boxing gloves and focus mitts in the class, but you can also bring your own gloves with you. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience in the sport, but want to improve their technique.
Gym training for beginners
Location: Formis gym (Ajurinkatu 2/Läntinen Pitkäkatu 25, Turku)

Participants will learn the basics of gym training. We will go through easy basic movements with both equipment and free weights. After taking this course, participants will be able to work out at the gyms independently.
Hyrox for beginners
Location: RR Training (Pitkämäenkatu 13, Turku)
Time: on Thursdays 29 January – 26 February 2026 (5 times) at 18.30-19.30

Hyrox combines elements of endurance training and functional training. In this course, you will learn the basics of Hyrox movements and how to train progressively in a safe and effective manner. The course is suitable for those who are interested in Hyrox but do not know where to start. The course includes Hyrox-style workouts that combine strength, endurance, and cardio exercises. We will go through the key movements, such as burpees, broad jumps, wall balls, farmer’s walks, and step squats. The course may include a few outdoor training sessions focusing on the basics and technique of running. No previous Hyrox experience is required to join the course. You will need indoor workout clothes as well as gear suitable for an outdoor run.
Orienteering for beginners
Location: the theory session will be held at Maarian Mahti Sports Hall (Paimalantie 305, Turku), Turku-Rastit evening orienteering events will be held in Turku and surrounding areas (locations will be announced later)
Time: on Wednesdays 25 March – 22 April 2026 (5 times) at 18.00-20.00

In the first course meeting, you will learn the basics and theory of orienteering. In the following meetings, orienteering will be practiced at Turku-Rastit evening events under the instructor’s guidance. Each evening event lasts about two hours and focuses on different orienteering exercises. The course is meant for those interested in orienteering who have little or no previous experience. You need clothing that is suitable for running. You can bring your own compass or EMIT stamp if you wish, but these can also be borrowed from the instructor.
Pole dancing for beginners
Location: Rock the Pole (Aninkaistenkatu 20, Turku)
Time: on Wednesdays 28 January – 25 February 2026 (5 times) at 15.30-16.30

The course covers the basics of pole dancing, such as different twirls, holds, and grips. The course is suitable for beginners as well as those who have some experience in pole dancing and want to review the basics.
Singing bowls relaxation
Location: Sport Sirkka (Sirkkalankatu 13, Turku)

Singing bowls relaxation is a deep relaxation method that uses the gentle sound of singing bowls to calm the body and mind. Singing bowls relaxation reduces stress, calms the nervous system, promotes sleep quality and recovery, and provides a deep relaxation experience. It also provides practical tools for managing everyday stress. In this course, you will learn these skills through repeated exercises and regular, guided relaxation. No previous experience is required.
Taekwondo for beginners in English

Taekwondo is a dynamic martial art that includes kicks, punches, and blocks. Practising Taekwondo improves coordination, flexibility, agility, and overall body control. In this course, you will learn the basics of Taekwondo. No previous experience is required. The course is instructed entirely in English.
