CampusSport Cup 2021-2022 has ended
CampusSport Cup has ended. The champion is for the fifth time in a row Functio Laesa. The team participated in seven sports and won three of them. Functio Laesa won medals in all the sports except one. The racket sports were played earlier in the spring and the winner was Evert Aittokallio. Thank you to everyone who participated and congratulations to the winners!
54 teams participated in the team sports CampusSport Cup during the academic year 2021-2022. The cup consisted of football, volleyball, basketball, Finnish baseball, bubble football, floorball (both sähly and salibandy), ice hockey and futsal. 12 series were played. CampusSport Cup of the academic year 2022-2023 starts in the autumn. In addition to old sports, there will be a flag football competition. The competition calendar will be published in June.
CampusSport organises several tournaments and competitions during the academic year. You do not have to pay the sports fee in order to participate, as long as you are a student or a staff member in one of the universities in Turku. Anyone can put a team together. You can for example ask fellow students to join your team and participate in the competitions. Some of the competitions have both amateur and competition series. There is a separate fee for each tournament. Our competitions are part of CampusSport Cup, which is a series of tournaments that consists of different sports and lasts for the whole season. You can participate in just one tournament, it is not mandatory to be part of the cup.
